For the Rat Pack / Mad Men table I designed this past weekend, little bow ties were used as napkin rings. Since the Rat Pack often wore tuxedos with bow ties, I thought these little guys, made out of grey menswear fabric, would be the perfect place setting topper. They would also work well adorning candy vessels or cake stands. And, they would be perfect for a Little Man baby shower or birthday party, too!
I made sixteen of these bow ties, one for each place setting. By no means am I a good seamstress, so I promise you that they are not difficult to make. They are also very forgiving, because all of the seams are hidden once they are done.
